ELECTROCHEMISTRY

Chlor-alkali plants

SESPI have designed a simple and effective membrane electrolyzer to be fitted in the small/medium industrial units which can take advantage either of chlorine or caustic (or possibly both products) for the commercialization of derivatives.

Electrodialysis

The electrodialysis is an electrochemical separation process applied to acqueous solution in which organic and inorganic substances are dissolved and are dissociated in electrical positive and negative ions (hydrolysis). The basical electrical property of such a solution is to be an electricity conductor.

Chloro-disinfectants

Lean Hypochlorite Solution (L.H.S.) is a mixture in water of sodium chloride and sodium hypochlorite, extensively used as disinfectant and biocyde, instead of other chemicals which are more expensive and can lead to noxious side effects.
